Propolis Defense vodne raztopine propolisa imajo kar trojno standardizacijo. Uporabljamo izvleček propolisa, pripravljen po patentiranem postopku, ki je v osnovi vodno-alkoholen. Alkohol se kasneje odstrani, suhi izvleček pa enkapsulira v naravnih nosilcih. Ob mešanju z vodo tako tvori stabilno disperzijo, deloma raztopino, brez ene same kapljice alkohola. Zato je propolis na vodni osnovi bolj primeren za pripravo raztopin za ustno higieno ali direkten nanos na ustno sluznico.
Izvleček je standardiziran na skupne flavonoide ter dodatno na 6 najbolj pomembnih flavonoidov za rjavi propolis – galangin, pinocembrin, apigenin, krisin, kvercetin in pinobanksin. Celotni izdelek je še dodatno standardiziran na skupne flavonoide in označen s stopnjo APF®.
